Speaking to my Sister on Mothers Day

I received a wonderful phone call today. My oldest sister called and we had a great talk. I love her very much and it seems that as we became older that we have not been as close. Life gets in the way sometimes. So I cherish the time that we do talk. We have so much in common and so little in common but we do love each other. And we know that when we talk.

Our little soccer player

It has been many years since our girls have played Soccer. It is good to see the tradition continue. This is Kaiden doing his best in his first year of playing. Keep up the good work. He looks really cute anyway.

Memories

I just took a trip down memory lane with an old friend. It is really nice to talk to friends from the past. Life takes so many turns, but, it always seems as though everyone in your life has a reason for being in it.

What's been going on

Lets see. Well I have had surgery on both my feet. It has been almost 3 weeks now things are getting better but I do have some pressure points that still hurt pretty bad. Cortney and Duncan came to help with the house and driving during this time and stayed to 3 weeks it was hard to say goodbye. We had so much fun while he was here. I know that I spoil him alot while he is here visiting and he has to be trained all over again when he gets home.
We will find out what Autumn is having, a boy or girl on Monday. Waiting to post what Cortney is having until then. Christmas this year will be so much fun with two new little ones. Can't wait for that Family pic. We are growing quite quickly now. What a wonderful time it is to be grandparents. Love it love it love it.

Little Duncan at the wedding

This is his Happy Face See how quickly that changes

At Spencer and Lauren's wedding I just had to pic's of Duncan

Spencer & Lauren Baker

We were given the opportunity to share the most important day of two peoples lives. Spencer & Lauren are now husband and wife. What a wonderful day it was, busy but wonderful. They are so perfect for each other. The sealing was in the Fresno LDS Temple which was amazing and fun. The sealer, Brother Stoker, did an amazing job. What wonderful advise he gave the two of them. He told them to always focus on each other not on themselves. If we all did just that little thing how wonderful all of our marriages would be. We started out the day with the sealing at 12 noon, took some pictures and off to the luncheon. The luncheon was at 3:00pm and was at a Victorian House in down town Clovis. The home was an old two story home that was decorated so beautiful with burgandy drapes. The Food was so good and how fun it was to catch up with old friends. After the luncheon was the reception, that started at 7:00 pm. I had taken some pic's at the temple so Marci asked me to develop some and bring to the reception. Some of them turned out so cute. Well, Spencer and Lauren are so cute anyway. The reception was beautifully decorated and they had a chocolate fountain with lots of dipping stuff. It seemed as if everyone was by the fountain most of the night. When it was time for the kids to leave we went out and saw that their car had been decorated and it was done very nicely. Thank you Matt and Mike. It was filled with balloons, and I mean filled. There was writing on the windows "Just Married" they really did a nice job.

Fireside one year later

So yesterday I got a message on facebook from Dallas Griffiths. One of Danielle's friends from Pleasant Grove. He came to St. George last year at this time to put on a fireside with his friend Josh Featherstone. They had did some amazing things for the children in Tonga and were going to share that with our youth. The day just did not happen the way it was planned. Dallas, Josh, Danielle and Haley went to Snow Canyon where the boys were long boarding. Dallas fell, or something, we are not sure, and was injured quite badly. So anyway a year later the boys are coming back to put the fireside on now, only this time they will have a little twist of message. They will be speaking to the kids about faith, and how it can get us through. This years theme for the mutual age kids is ""Be thou an example of the believers" (1 Timothy 4:12). I have seen Dallas before and after the accident do just this and think that he will be an amazing example of believing. I can't wait.

Preference and Becca

Last night Becca went to a school dance that is called Preference. This dance the girls ask the boys. Becca asked a boy named Ryan, just a friend, and her friend Jamie asked a boy named Matt, also just a friend. They had a day date where they picked things from a bag that they had to complete, such as, ask someone to be your best friend, play duck duck goose in a crowded area, and ask someone to marry you. They said that it was really fun. Then they went to Jamie's sisters house had lunch and played Wii. The girls then took the boys home and came to our house to get ready for the dance. They picked up the boys went and had pictures taken and came back to our house for dinner. We made Grandma Tudman's speghetti sause, bread and salad. We set up the back yard, had a little fire with the christmas lights on the patio cover. It looked great. A little cold but I think they had fun. All and all the date went well and Becca looked beautiful.

Nana & Papa #5 and 6

So now that the girls have both posted that they are having babies 6 days apart I can talk about it. It was quite the day. Cortney has been trying for about 5 months. Autumn called us and said well guess what? you are going to be a grandma again. I was shocked due to Autumn just going to the Dr. to make sure that that did not happen until they were back from their cruise in May. So anyway Autumn said I am alittle scared to call Cortney, (due to her trying for so long) I told her to call her and make her get a test, it was only 5 days from when she would find out if she was anyway. So Cortney went and got a test, called me and sent a picture of the test with a really light pink line. I told her to go get a digital. Cortney sent Chris to get one and sure enough it said "Pregnant) so here we are Autumn due on July 28th and Cortney due on Aug 2nd. Cortney will have a C section and that will be scheduled the week that Autumn is due. Who knows maybe they will share birthdays. That would be crazy. I am not sure at this time how I will be there for both. Pray for me and the girls that things will work out that I can be there for both. HOW DO YOU CHOOSE? 30 AND 31 WEEKS TO GO.
